SYNOPSIS FOR HELLO AFRICA ON AFRICA INDEPENDENT TELEVISION (AIT) IBADAN

What is Hello Africa? Hello Africa is an edutainment television program meant to unveil Africa heritage by Africans in which the program will be having 3 segments which include;

• Discovery of historic things about Africa and Africans who have made history in Africa.
• Movies that contributed to Africa heritage in terms of their costumes, set and mother tongues.
• Music videos that portrays Africa heritage in terms of the lyrics and video concept.

     We will need to be traveling within and outside Africa to interview Africa scholars and renowned celebrities both in movie and music industries who have done so much for fellow Africans. For example, Saworoide, a popular Yoruba movie that was released in 1999 was produced by Tunde Kilani the owner of Mainframe, has contributed immensely in promoting Africa culture by producing films that showcase Yoruba culture and traditions. Kunle Afolayan is one of the renowned nollywood movie director who have done so much for his country. Ousmane Sembene is the first film director from an African country to achieve international recognition and many more.

     Hello Africa is a 30minutes program that will be presented by a male and a female presenter. These presenters will be representing Africa in their mode of dressing, thereby, promoting Africa culture. Also, the background of the studio will preach Africa.

     

     Aims and Objectives of the Program

•         To promote Africa culture through entertainment
•     To promote Africans dialect.
•     To promote different ethnics in Africa
•     To prevent the extinction of Africa culture, dialects and ethnics as a result of civilization

     Our Vision

•         To further promote this program on cable stations so as to reach out to more Africans in other Africa countries
•     To organize an award called Hello Africa Art Award (HAAA) where Africa celebrates people who have done so much for Africa continent in all aspects of life.
•     To release a magazine called Hello Africa magazine, showcasing Africa in another dimension.
